The prize distribution ceremony of National Community Emergency Response Teams (CERTs) 2020 Day was organized by Emergency Services Academy Lahore on International Volunteer Day. Governor Punjab Chaudhary Muhammad Sarwar appreciated the Rescue Service and his team for the establishment of over 5000 emergency response teams in all Union councils of Punjab for saving lives and promoting safety. Governor Punjab and Director General Punjab Emergency Service, Rizwan Naseer appreciated PITB for the development of an application for Rescue Cadet Corps that will enable the volunteers to get registered, online tutorials of community safety programs, online exams, certification and facilitate emergency response mechanism for volunteers. Joint Director, Nausheen Fayyaz was also presented a shield for the exemplary services of PITB.
