Chaired by DG Health Haroon Jahangir, a meeting regarding Dengue Technical Working Group was held at Director General Health Services (DGHS) in which PITB health team gave a presentation on the current situation and evaluation activities in Punjab. Chairperson Dengue Expert Advisory Group (DEAG) Dr. Somia Iqtadar, Assistant Superintendent (AS) Technical Primary and Secondary Health Department Asif Altaf, and Director Health Services - Communicable Diseases & Epidemics Prevention Control Program (DHS CD&EPC) Dr. Shahid Hussain Magsi also briefed the participants on the current situation of dengue. The attendees also discussed the way forward for preventing and controlling dengue across Punjab.
