Mr. Omar Salman serves as Additional Director General (Software Engineering) at PITB, where he leads the design and delivery of large-scale digital platforms, supporting public sector reform and data-driven policymaking.
His portfolio spans key government domains, including the judicial system, education sector, and socio-economic welfare programmes. His focus is on building scalable, secure, and high-impact digital systems that enhance service delivery and institutional efficiency.
Associated with PITB since 2017, Mr. Salman brings strong technical expertise in system architecture and software engineering. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from FAST National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Lahore, a Master of Science in Computer Science from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), and a Master of Science in Software Engineering from the University of York, United Kingdom.
