Minister for Industries, Commerce, Investment and Skills Development Mian Muhammad Aslam Iqbal launched the Complaint Registration Portal developed by PITB to ensure protection of the consumer rights under Punjab Consumer Protection (PCPA) Act 2005. Secretary Industries Department Dr. Wasif Khursheed and Director from Directorate of Punjab Consumer Protection Council (PCPC) Asif Ali Farrukh were also present in the event.
PITB Director Khuram Mushtaq and team gave a demonstration on the features of Complaint Registration Portal and informed that citizens can register their complaints online through the link https://consumerservice.punjab.gov.pk/.
Citizens will also get SMS Alerts about their complaint registration, date of hearings, court schedules and court orders. The helpline 042-99030124 has also been energized to address queries relating to District Consumer Courts and Councils.
