A detailed demonstration of the Imported Sugar Management System was given to Secretary Food Ali Sarfraz by PITB IT Operations team in a meeting held at Punjab Civil Secretariat.
This system helps in improving operational efficiency and transparency from tracking sugar movement from port to districts and then onwards to dealers for dispatch and sale in markets. The track and trace system of imported sugar monitors the payments as well.
