Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems are being embraced world over as they automate and unify critical business processes like Human Resource Management, Finance, Operations, Inventory Management etc. In this regard, a delegation from Multan Waste Management Company (MWMC) visited PITB for a workshop.
DG e-Governance Sajid Latif while highlighting the success stories of various ICT initiatives of PITB underscored the role of ICT interventions towards national progress.
SPM Mariam Zaib and Project Coordinator Bilal Javaid briefed the delegation about different flagship projects of PITB under the e-Governance domain.
Live demonstration of different systems including Human Resource Management Information System, PITB Accounting Management System, e-Filing & Office Automation System (e-FOAS), Inventory Management System were also given.
Chief Executive Officer Fakhar-ul-Islam Dogar, Company Secretary Kabir Khan, Chief Financial Officer Sajid Riaz, Chief Internal Auditor Asif Tahir and other functional heads from heads Multan Waste Management Company participated in the workshop.
