A detailed meeting was held at Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) office to review and discuss the status and various other aspects of Rehunmai Markaz (RM) initiative. The meeting was presided over by Minister of Higher Education and IT Punjab Raja Yasir Humayun. Secretary Higher Education Department and Chairman PHEC Javed Iqbal Bokhari and Chairman PITB Azfar Manzoor were the key attendees. PITB DG IT-Solutions Waqar Naeem Qureshi and JD Shahid Akram were also present at the meeting.
RM portal developed by PITB, as part of this initiative, is a one stop solution for students of Punjab seeking higher education in the province. The portal would give timely updates about admissions, study programs, accredited institutions, and financial assistance etc. to the students.
The Minister lauded PITB for its efforts and dedication in this regard and directed PHEC to operationalize a model of Rehnumai Markaz at PHEC. This initiative would be rolled out soon in colleges and universities across Punjab.
