A consultative meeting, presided over by Punjab Minister for Higher Education & Information Technology Raja Yassir Humayun, was held at PITB regarding the ICT interventions in the field of education. PITB Chairman Azfar Manzoor, DG IT-Solutions Waqar Naeem Qureshi, leading IT experts and eminent educationists were also present.
During the meeting the Minister discussed the framework to initiate short-term skill-upgradation programs in order to reduce the demand-supply gap of resources with market-relevant coding-skills. He also appreciated PITB’s contribution regarding various education related initiatives.
