A glimpse of Punjab International Business Conference at Dubai Expo 2020 and launch of Startup Punjab portal.
The conference was presided by Minister for Industries, Commerce, Investment and Skill Development Punjab Mian Aslam Iqbal and focused on building awareness about Pakistan’s potential and talent in the IT sector. Senior dignitaries from UAE and Pakistan, including, Punjab Minister for IT & Higher Education Raja Yassir Humayun, Punjab Finance Minister Hashim Jawan Bakht, and PITB Chairman Azfar Manzoor along with DG e-Governance Sajid Latif were present at the event.
Startup Punjab portal developed by PITB was also launched during the conference. The portal aims at bridging the disconnect between Pakistani startups and international stakeholders, boost the ICT industry nationwide and expand the footprint of Pakistan on the global entrepreneurship landscape.
