PITB IT-Operations team had a meeting with Chairman Punjab Agricultural Marketing Regulatory Authority (PAMRA) Naveed Anwar Bhinder to present the Virtual Market Place Model for Punjab. The Virtual Market Place will help farmers sell their produce directly without going through the traditional middlemen reducing cost and increasing the profits of the farming community. The Monitoring and Evaluation Model for the Market Committees was also discussed.
Chairman PAMRA stressed collaboration with the private sector as a stakeholder in establishing the virtual market for the greater benefit of farmers across Punjab.
