PITB organized a training session on Gender Mainstreaming, Planning and Budgeting for the officials of PITB. The session was executed by PITB HR wing and was held at Women Development Department Punjab. The purpose of the training was to incorporate gender reforms in public development projects in order to create gender sensitive environment across Punjab.
Punjab Minister for Women Development Ashifa Riaz Fatyana and Secretary Women Development Ambreen Raza distributed the shields and certificates among the participants. The Minister also lauded PITB for setting up a daycare center at Arfa Software Technology Park, which aims to support the employees by helping them focus on their work while taking care of their children during working hours.
