PITB signed an MoU with University of Education to establish Regional Plan 9's Lahore center in their campus. DG e-Governance PITB Sajid Latif and VC University of Education Prof. Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations.
Director Research University of Education Dr. Shahzada Qaiser, PITB JD Hammad Khalique, Partnerships Lead Salman Tariq and SPM Mughees Tahir were also present.
Regional Plan 9’s Lahore center aims to incubate and graduate 20 technology startups annually and contribute towards the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Pakistan. The incubation center will follow a Zero Equity Model and offer services to the inducted startups, which include monthly stipend, Free Office Space, Networking Opportunities, Mentorship, Business Development guidance and Free Legal Consultation.
