PITB held a meeting with the Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Punjab (ET&NC) and National Radio & Telecommunication Corporation (NRTC) regarding a proposal for Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) Tags for Motor Vehicles in Punjab.
Various ideas were discussed at length and multiple suggestions were shared by PITB DG-IT Operations Faisal Yousaf, DG ET&NC Rizwan Akram Sherwani and NRTC team in order to make the proposal for RFID tags more citizen centric.
DG ET&NC appreciated PITB for extending its support and discussed the way forward.
