Chairman PITB Azfar Manzoor and Code for Pakistan Country Head Samina Rizwan signed an MoU in a ceremony held at Arfa Software Technology Park. Senior officials from both organizations including PITB ADG Adil Iqbal Khan were also in attendance.
According to the MoU, both organizations will work collectively towards initiatives that would enhance citizen centric and innovative public services. Both organizations will also work on projects that aim at Punjab government’s digital transformation and improved civic engagement.
Code for Pakistan is a non-profit organization working on mobilizing a significant volunteer network of professionals to work on a variety of tech and digital initiatives that are geared towards improving service delivery and capacity building of the public sector.
