PITB and Livestock & Dairy Development (L&DD) department’s collaboration and how it has improved service delivery were recognized at an event held at UVAS Veterinary Academy. Provincial Minister for Livestock Sardar Hasnain Bahadar Dreshak and Secretary Livestock Naveed Haider Sherazi along with IT Operations team attended the event. PITB’s contribution regarding revamping and enhancing the 9211-SPMS System were highlighted at the event.
An Android Mobile Application and Executive Dashboard developed by PITB for L&DD field staff and management was also launched during the event. Director IT-Project Management Khurram Mushtaq gave a brief overview regarding PITB’s contribution towards establishing, digitalizing and upgrading the livestock SPMS system. He also highlighted how the system is providing efficient and effective services to L&DD field employees and farmers across Punjab. The minister appreciated the efforts of PITB and emphasized that the collaboration between PITB and L&DD has significantly improved service delivery for end users through the use of technology. Awards were also distributed among L&DD field officers to acknowledge their efforts.
