PITB Chairman Azfar Manzoor, Senior Member KPK Board of Revenue Syed Zafar Ali Shah and Additional Secretary Finance KPK Ammara Khan signed an MoU for implementation of e-Stamping system in KPK at an event held at Arfa Software Technology Park.
DG e-Governance PITB Sajid Latif, Director (Admin/HR/Finance) e-Stamping PITB Hammad Hassan Hamdani, Director Land Record KPK Mushtaq Hussain, Project Director e-Stamping KPK Shabbir Ahmed and other senior officials were also present at the event.
Launched in 2016, PITB's flagship project e-Stamping has achieved remarkable results in Punjab. A total of Rs. 244 billion of revenue has been collected through e-Stamping system in Punjab till date. An MoU for implementation of e-Stamping has already been signed with Sindh government while the implementation of the system is underway.
A mobile app has also been developed for auditors of BOR so they can easily verify e-Stamp paper and Challan-32-A. e-Stamping system brought radical change in traditional procedure of stamp issuance which minimized the issuance duration from 2-3 days to only 15 minutes.
