PITB representatives from IT-Operations team visited Punjab Communication & Works (C&W) Department for a meeting with Additional Secretary Amir Mustafa and other officials of the department to discuss the status of the ongoing e-Toll Project.
Currently, PITB is running the pilot project for the automation of Toll Plazas that aims to maximize toll collection under the Punjab Highway Department. Along with other benefits, it will also help reduce queue waiting time for the vehicles. PITB team members also discussed different IT initiatives for the comprehensive digitization of the department.
