PITB’s DG IT-Ops Held a Meeting with Delegates from UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization

PITB DG IT Operations Faisal Yousaf held a meeting with a high-level delegation from United Nation’s Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). Both sides discussed possible technological initiatives for FAO’s Animal Identification and Traceability System. FMD management Specialist Dr. Muhammad Afzal briefed the participants of the meeting about project scope and objectives in detail.

Faisal Yousaf presented various solutions identifying areas of expertise where PITB can extend assistance to FAO for effective and efficient implementation of their Animal Identification & Traceability System. FAO team appreciated PITB’s ICT interventions aimed at improving public service delivery and showed keen interest in collaboration in this regard.
