A progress review meeting was held for the Punjab Irrigation Department in which Secretary Irrigation Saif Anjum and Chairman PITB Azfar Manzoor discussed the progress of the ICT interventions implemented by PITB.
e-Abiana System and the initiation of e-Abiana billing across Punjab for the Khareef Season 2021 from 28th January this year was discussed in addition to the status of the e-Procurement System and e-Library initiatives. Secretary Irrigation also discussed other areas of collaboration with special emphasis on the Asset Management System.
Senior officials from both the departments including PITB DG IT-Operations Faisal Yousaf, Director IT Kashif Farooq and Project Director e-Earn Ali Zeb were also present.
