PITB Officials Attended Video Conference Meeting on Pakistan’s Cloud First Policy

A video conference meeting on Pakistan’s Cloud First Policy was held with all the Provincial IT Ministers and Advisors by the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT). The meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Federal Minister Information Technology and Telecommunication Syed Amin-ul-Haque.
Senior officials including Federal Secretary MoITT Dr. Muhammad Sohail Rajput, DG MoITT Syed Junaid Imam, PITB’s DG e-Governance Sajid Latif and ADG IT Infrastructure Sajjad Ghani, and Managing Director Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) Osman Nasir were also present.
The core purpose of the meeting was to discuss policy guidelines intended to roll out cloud computing by requiring stakeholders to evaluate safe, secure, cloud computing options.
