A stakeholder consultation session, chaired by Punjab Minister for Higher Education & Information Technology Raja Yassir Humayun Sarfraz, was recently held for ‘Chief Minister’s Innovate Punjab Program’ to engage the Industry for policy input on launching IT courses across Punjab.
Three educational streams namely e-skills, Digital Hunar, and Bootcamps were unveiled under the ‘Chief Minister’s Innovate Punjab Program.’ The main purpose of the meeting was also to discuss recommendations and suggestions for bridging the gap between the Industry and the Academia.
Senior representatives from Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) and PITB’s DG IT-Solutions Waqar Naeem Qureshi and DG e-Governance Sajid Latif were present at the meeting.
