A delegation from Right to Public Services Commission (RTPS) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa visited PITB to get acquainted with Punjab Government’s ICT interventions aiming to improve public service delivery. A detailed brief was given on PITB’s role in successfully rolling out IT initiatives across Punjab.
PITB ADG Training & Development Saima Shaikh gave an overview of 'Web Presence' and 'Improvements to Arrangements for Starting a Business.' Director Communication & Coordination Hasnain Iqbal presented and demonstrated 'Citizen Feedback Monitoring Program' while Director IT-Ops Qasim Afzal shared an insight on 'Smart Policing.' PITB relevant team members also shared the success stories of initiatives like 'Baldiaonline,' 'e-Pay Punjab' and 'e-Abiana.'
The delegates visited e-Khidmat Markaz to familiarize themselves with the services offered at the center. They also showed keen interest in exploring possible areas of collaboration with PITB. Chief Commissioner RTPS Commission Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Saleem Khan presented a souvenir to PITB on concluding their two days visit.
