PITB representatives from IT Operations team including Program Manager Asma Khalid and Program Officer Khizra Latif visited Chief Inspectorate of Mines and Directorate of Mines, Punjab. The PITB team demonstrated the Mines Inspection Mobile Application and web portal dashboard in front of the representatives of Chief Inspectorate of Mines and Directorate of Mines, Punjab.
The mobile application will enable mines inspectors to digitize all inspection performas under the Mines Act, 1923. It will also enable the timely reporting of violation of mining rules, geo-tagging of mines and real-time monitoring of the inspection regime.
