CM Sindh Inaugurates PITB Developed e-Stamping System in Sindh

e-Stamping system developed by PITB for the province Sindh was officially launched in Karachi today. The inauguration ceremony was held at the CM House and presided by Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah.

Minister Revenue & Relief Sindh Makhdoom Mehboob Zaman, Senior Member Board of Revenue (BOR) Sindh Baqaullah Unnar, Secretary Local Government Sindh Syed Najam Ahmad Shah, Chairman PITB Muhammad Asif Balal Lodhi and Acting Governor State Bank of Pakistan Murtaza Syed were also present at the ceremony.

Senior officials from Sindh and PITB, including PITB’s DG e-Governance Sajid Latif, Director Hammad Hasan Hamdani, President National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) Arif Usmani and Executive Vice President NBP Mahmood Nadeem Akhtar, Member Reform Wing & Special Cell (R&S) Government of Sindh Dr. Waseem Shamshad, Chief Inspector of Stamps Sindh Abbas Naich and Project Director Automation of Stamps & Registration (ASR) Sindh Wajid Sheikh were also present.

e-Stamping Sindh project is a joint effort of BOR Sindh, PITB and NBP. The project has already been rolled out in 11 districts of Sindh. Presently, 22 branches of NBP, including 12 branches in Karachi, are already issuing e-Stamp papers. By July 2022, e-Stamping services will be fully operational through NBP Branches provincewide.

CM Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah appreciated the efforts of PITB, BOR Sindh and NBP lauding them for timely delivery of the project.
