PITB representatives from IT Operations team visited the Social Security Teaching Hospital, Multan Road Lahore to review the project activities onsite. PITB is implementing Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) at PESSI hospitals across Punjab. System operations were reviewed at different service counters including registration points, appointment desks, and laboratory during today's visit. The importance of process reengineering was also stressed as a mandatory part of HMIS implementation. The PITB team will pay a series of visits to review project activities at the PESSI hospitals throughout the province.
