PITB Signed Extension of e-Abiana Contract with Punjab Irrigation Department

PITB signed an extension of agreement with Punjab Irrigation Department to develop additional modules like drainage charges in the e-Abiana system. The agreement was signed by PITB’s Director IT Khurram Mushtaq and Punjab Irrigation Department’s Executive Engineer Shaban Ghulam Nabi on behalf of their respective organizations.

E-Abiana is a digital mechanism for the payments of Abiana amount and Tawan through PITB developed e-Pay Punjab App. It also enables the department to ensure transparency and make collection of the revenue easier.
