University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore organized an exclusive awareness and training session regarding the recent Monkeypox Virus outbreak.
Presided by UHS Vice Chancellor Professor Javed Akram, PITB representatives participated in the session to extend its support in building awareness and combating the disease.
PITB IT-Operations Director Nausheen Fayyaz gave a detailed briefing on PITB developed Disease Surveillance System and how it would assist in fighting the disease.
UHS Health of Microbiology Department Professor Dr. Sidrah Saleem and General Secretary of Pakistan Society for Internal Medicine Dr. Somia Iqtadar were also present.
