Punjab Labour and Human Resource (HR) Department Secretary Liaquat Ali Chatha inaugurated PITB developed, ‘Punjab Job Center’, at the office of Directorate Labour Welfare Lahore (North and South). PITB IT-Operations Director Atif Hussain briefed the Secretary regarding the project.
The initiative aims at creating a bridge between 'Job Seekers' and 'Job Providers' in both public and private sectors along with a database of available human capital in Punjab region. Labour and Human Resource Department Secretary Liaqat Ali Chatha appreciated the efforts of PITB.
Additional Secretary Rao Atif Raza, Deputy Secretary Rao Zahid Mehmood, Director Headquarter Daud Abdullah, Director Labour South Nadeem Akhter, Director Labour North Imran Haider Tipu and representatives from PITB IT-Ops team including Senior Program Manager Shams ul Islam were also present.
