PITB and National Bank of Pakistan to Collaborate on Various ICT Initiatives

A delegation from National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), comprising Senior Executive Vice President & Chief Digital Banking Group Muhammad Hamayun Sajjad, Senior Vice President Farhan J. Durrani and Awais Zafar Khan, visited PITB to discuss various ICT initiatives with DG e-Governance Sajid Latif.

Detailed discussion was held regarding e-Stamping Modules for the ongoing e-Stamping System project, Digital Banking Platform for freelancers, and NBP Collection Booths for Citizen Facilitation Centers (CFC), training of NBP Staff on Digital Skills and finally setting up of a NBP Helpline at PITB's Citizen Contact Center (CCC).

NBP will be launching a digital banking platform for the freelancers registered with PITB on different programs. In addition, NBP will also install ATMs and Cash and Cheque Deposit Machines (CCDM) at CFCs across Punjab. Both teams also reviewed the ongoing e-Stamping facility for improved delivery of citizen centric services.

PITB Director e-Stamping Syed Hammad Hasan Hamdani, JD e-Stamping Haider Ali and JD CCC Ali Zeb were also present at the meeting.
