PITB organized a meeting to discuss the implementation of e-Fertilizer Distribution System. The meeting was chaired by Additional Secretary Agriculture (Task Force) Punjab Rana Ali Arshad at the Agriculture Department.
PITB IT- Operations representative Director Khurram Mushtaq discussed the major challenges regarding the implementation of the system across Punjab. Additional Secretary Agriculture (Task Force) Punjab Rana Ali Arshad acknowledged PITB’s efforts in digitizing the province with IT interventions.
e-Fertilizer Distribution System aims at facilitating the agriculture staff, dealers and farmers regarding purchase of fertilizer. The system automatically fetches farmer's information from e-Gardawri database and sends the allocated quota details to the concerned farmer on the basis of his land and crops. The meeting was also attended by Divisional Directors of Agriculture Department.
