PITB Implements Queue Management System at PESSI Hospitals

As part of the Implementation of Hospital Management Information System (HMIS), Queue Management System (QMS) has been launched at the hospitals of Punjab Employees Social Security Institution (PESSI). The QMS aims at eliminating long queues and disorderly crowd at the hospitals’ appointment counters. The system will not only enable first-come-first-serve mechanism for Outpatient Department (OPD) patients but also improve patient service delivery. PITB and PESSI are collaborating for implementation of HMIS at 16 hospitals with the ultimate goal of facilitating patients.
