PITB representatives attended a meeting, chaired by Punjab Irrigation Department Deputy Secretary General Rao Sohail Akhtar held at his office. PITB IT-Operations (IT-Ops) team comprising Joint Director Malik Usman Waheed and Senior Program Manager Shah Bukhsh Raisani gave demonstration on the revamped e-Abiana module. Representatives from Punjab Irrigation Department welcomed the changes in the system. e-Abiana is a digital mechanism for the payments of Abiana amount and Tawan through PITB developed e-Pay Punjab App. It also enables the Irrigation Department to improve revenue collection while ensuring transparency.
