The first e-Stamp paper as part of PITB executed e-Stamping system in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has been formally issued in district Nowshera today.
e-Stamping system is implemented in one of the branches of National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) in Nowshera district as a pilot phase and it will be gradually rolled out across other districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
e-Stamping system aims to prevent paper and process related fraudulent practices, leakage of government revenue while store information in electronic form to ensure transparency.
The e-Stamping initiative is being executed under an agreement among PITB, Board of Revenue (BOR) Government of KP, NBP, State Bank of Pakistan and World Bank.
