e-Stamping system, one of the flagship initiatives of PITB, has been successfully implemented across Punjab and Sindh. Its implementation is now well underway in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and would soon be expanded to the remaining provinces.
e-Stamping digitizes issuance of stamp papers eliminating paper and process related fraudulent practices, leakage of government revenue while storing information in digital form to ensure transparency.
The initiative has been executed as part of an agreement among PITB, Provincial Governments, Board of Revenue (BOR) of the respective provinces, National Bank of Pakistan, State Bank of Pakistan and World Bank.
