PITB, British Council and QAED Held a Meeting about Upcoming Initiative ‘EaSTE’

A meeting comprising key officials from PITB, the British Council and Quaid-e-Azam Academy for Educational Development (QAED) was held to discuss the upcoming project ‘English as a Subject for Teachers and Educators (EaSTE). Senior officials from PITB included DG IT-Solutions Waqar Naeem Qureshi and Director Shahid Akram.
Approved by the government of Punjab, EaSTE aims to train government primary school teachers across Punjab with the latest English language trends in order to enhance their learning and teaching skills.
Senior Academic Manager British Council Fiona Robertson and Project Manager Aleezeh Hameed gave an overview of the ‘EaSTE Training Structure’ to the participants. The training plan of the ‘EaSTE’ will be deployed and executed through the Training Management System (TMS) developed by PITB.
Furthermore, The Course Coordinator-III QAED Dr. Samia Naaz and Course Coordinator QAED Ayesha Kareem discussed the importance of devising exclusive training plans to up-skill the English learning and delivering skills of educational professionals.
