During a visit to Gilgit Baltistan (GB) Police Headquarters, PITB representatives from IT-Operations visited GB Police Khidmat Markaz to review the performance of the service of Learner Driving License issuance through the PITB developed 'Driving License Information Management System (DLIMS).'
This system implemented by PITB at GB Police Khidmat Markaz aims at replacing the traditional process and manual records by completely rolling out the paperless culture across the province.
PITB team including Senior Program Manager Rai Rashid briefed GB Police representatives on the use of the latest technological practices and systems presently functional in Punjab. A discussion on the upcoming launch of two of such systems in GB was also held.
