Minister of School Education Department Punjab Dr. Murad Raas inaugurates ‘EaSTE Training’ at QAED

Minister of School Education Department Punjab Dr. Murad Raas inaugurated ‘English as a Subject for Teachers and Educators (EaSTE) Training’ at Quaid-e-Azam Academy for Educational Development Punjab (QAED) Punjab. Senior Academic Manager British Council Fiona Robertson and Project Manager Aleezeh Hameed were also present.
An initiative of the Government of Punjab, the purpose of ‘EaSTE Training’ is to empower Primary School Teachers (PSTs) with global English language teaching trends in order to impart up-to-date English language education to the students of public schools across Punjab.
The ‘EaSTE Training’ powered by PITB offers online self-access courses to 150,000+ primary school teachers across 33,000+ primary schools. PSTs can also access course content 24/7 along with the Virtual Classroom, Discussion Forum, Quizzes, and all other activities. A detailed demonstration on this was delivered by PITB Program Manager Zartasha Munawar.
