Training on Biometric Criminal Identification System, to be installed in all police stations of Punjab, was conducted by PITB. Quick retrieval of criminal history through fingerprint match, at Thana level, has been made possible through these new, low cost biometric devices while the time effectiveness shall drastically reduce the interrogation span.
