Two-Day Training Conducted on e-Abiana’s Revamped Module

A two-day training on the revamped module of PITB developed e-Abiana has concluded. The training was supervised by Punjab Irrigation Department Deputy Secretary General Rao Sohail. PITB IT-Ops Program Officer Muhammad Ali Mustafa gave a detailed training on the revamped module of e-Abiana to the divisional staff. Divisional XENs, Deputy Collectors, Zilledars, and Patwaris were also present during the training session.
e-Abiana project was initiated by PITB in collaboration with Punjab Irrigation Department in 2021. In the last two years, the initial scope of the project has been completed and e-Abiana has been rebranded as the ‘Irrigation Revenue Collection System’. Moreover, four new modules i.e. e-Tawan, e-Drainage, Effluent Charges, and Non-Irrigation Use of Canal Water will soon be part of the Irrigation Revenue Collection System.
