Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi inaugurated Phase - I of the newly established ‘Fatima Jinnah Institute of Mother and Child Health’ at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital Lahore. He was accompanied by Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmeen Rashid.
On the occasion, Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Secretary Ahmed Javed Qazi briefed the attendees on the salient features of the facility including Hospital Management Information System developed by PITB.
PITB Director from IT-Operations wing Nausheen Fayyaz further briefed the guests on HMIS.
Chief Minister Punjab appreciated PITB's efforts for successfully implementing IT interventions across the province especially in the field of healthcare.
