Training on PITB Developed E-Abiana’s Revamped Module Concludes in Sahiwal, Faisalabad

A four-day training on the revamped module of PITB developed e-Abiana System has concluded in Sahiwal and Faisalabad Zone. PITB IT-Ops Program Officer Muhammad Ali Mustafa gave detailed training on the revamped module of e-Abiana to the divisional XENs, Deputy Collectors, Zilledars, and Patwaris.
e-Abiana project was initiated by PITB in collaboration with Punjab Irrigation Department in 2021. In the last two years, the initial scope of the project has been completed and e-Abiana has been rebranded as the ‘Irrigation Revenue Collection System’. Moreover, four new modules i.e. e-Tawan, e-Drainage, Effluent Charges, and Non-Irrigation Use of Canal Water will soon be part of the Irrigation Revenue Collection System.
