PITB Team Visits Punjab Food Authority Godown and Flour Mill

PITB IT team visited Mughalpura Food Godown of Punjab Food Department and a Flour Mill to monitor the implementation of PITB's state-of-the-art Wheat Procurement, Release & Tracking System. PITB representatives from IT-Ops team including Joint Director Ali Kheiri and Usman Waheed discussed various operational challenges and future collaboration prospects with provincial reserve center officials and flour mill owners to enhance efficiency of IT interventions in Punjab Province.
District Food Controller, Lahore Amjad, Punjab Food Department officials and flour mill owners appreciated PITB's efforts to streamline end-to-end wheat track and trace mechanism across the province and expected that PITB will continue to contribute with the same excellence for the upcoming Wheat Import initiative of government from port to godown.
PITB Senior Program Manager Ibrahim Samad and Program Manager Afnan Javed were also part of the team.
