December 01, 2022

PITB conducted an orientation drive for ‘Training Consultants (TCs)’ of the British Council, who will further coach Primary School Teachers (PSTs) in hybrid mode (online and face-to-face) through PITB developed Training Management System (TMS).
The training was imparted as part of ‘English as a Subject for Teachers and Educators (EaSTE)’ project, an initiative of the Government of Punjab and the British Council, aiming to acquaint the PSTs across Punjab with the latest English language skills.
PITB Program Managers Khurram Shahzad and Zartasha Munawar from the IT-Solutions wing conducted the detailed demonstration session while highlighting the key features of TMS. The overall purpose of the project is to train150,000+ PSTs from 33,000+ primary schools across Punjab. The session concluded with a Q&A session.
