Punjab Information Technology (IT) Minister Dr. Arslan Khalid visited the Punjab Thalassemia and Other Genetic Disorders Prevention and Research Institute (PTGD) established at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Lahore. He was accompanied by PITB IT-Ops Director Nausheen Fayyaz. During the visit, Thalassemia DG Dr. Hussain Jafri applauded PITB’s efforts regarding the development of Thalassemia Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Prevention System. Both sides also discussed the way forward and future expansion of new labs to curb further spread of genetic disorders.
