Progress Review Meeting on ADP Schemes Held at Forest Department

A delegation from PITB visited Forest Department to attend a progress review meeting on ADP schemes. PITB IT-Ops Joint Director Qaiser Shabbir shared developments regarding various ADP schemes including Strengthening of Planning, Monitoring & Evacuation Wing (PM&E), Monitoring of Implementation of Urban and Peri-urban Forest Policy Punjab (UPU) and Digitization of Operational Activities in Forest Department (DOAF). Manager GIS Shahid Imran and other officials of Forest Department appreciated PITB efforts for playing key role in digitizing Punjab.
PITB has been providing a number of services to the Forest Department to strengthen its internal processes such as Forest Nurseries Management, Timber Issuance and Transportation, Timber Auctioning and Inspection Regimen etc. PITB is also facilitating Forest Department to record and track plantation activities being carried out across Punjab.
