PITB and Pakistan Railways Police (PRP) have signed an MoU for the automation of Railway Police Stations nationwide. The MoU ceremony was held at the office of the Inspector General Railways Police and it was signed by PITB IT-Operations Director General Faisal Yousaf and Inspector General Pakistan Railways Police Rao Sardar Ali Khan on behalf of their respective organizations.
According to the MoU, PITB team will deploy Police Station Record Management System (PSRMS) and Complaint Management System (CMS) for the digitization of railways police stations to curb crime and ensure transparency in overall workflow.
Senior officials from Pakistan Railway Police, including DIG North PRP, DIG South PRP and PR Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Muhammad Maaz Zafar PSP, and PITB’s IT-OpsADG Syed Qasim Ifzal, CPS Project Director Asim Iqbal and Senior Program Manager Rai Rashid were also present.
