Pakistan’s largest tech-expo ‘Future Fest 2023’, organized by PITB and Ejad Lab, commenced in Lahore today at the Expo Center. President Dr. Arif Alvi addressed the audience online as the chief guest while Punjab Minister IT Dr. Arslan Khalid was the distinguished guest.
Speaking at the occasion, President Dr. Arif Alvi emphasized on youth empowerment and strengthening Pakistan’s tech ecosystem through creating investment opportunities and tech based openings for the youth.
Punjab IT Minister Dr. Arslan Khalid highlighted the role of the government in rolling out ICT initiatives across Punjab. He also stressed on effectual policy making to support the IT industry and particularly encouraged the women to utilize their talent and skills in strengthening IT related workforce.
The expo is also hosting a Saudi delegation comprising leading startups and tech based companies to help connect industry’s key stakeholders with foreign investors. Prior to this, Punjab IT Minister Dr. Arslan Khalid met the delegation and discussed the investment opportunities in Pakistan. He also discussed creating opportunities in DCO member countries. DCO (Digital Corporation Organization) is a global body that aims to promote digital economy & IT initiatives worldwide by bringing governments, private sector, NGOs & civil society together to enable more inclusive digital transformation.
Future Fest is a 3-day that will conclude on January 08, 2023. The event aims at hosting 50,000+ attendees, 500 distinguished speakers, 200+ exhibitors, 20+ activities, 30+ countries, 500+ startups, 100+ media, 50+ investors and unlimited networking opportunities.
