A delegation from National Police Academy comprising of Civil Service of Pakistan (CSP) officers visited PITB for training on Smart Policing. In the first half of the training, PITB IT-Ops
ADG Syed Qasim Afzal gave orientation to the participants and comprehensively discussed all the IT initiatives that have been taken to cover the portfolio of Punjab Police and security forces of other provinces to build one system for one nation.
In the second half, the delegation was given hands-on training on developing applications via DataPlug. The purpose of the training was to equip them with the latest tools and technologies so they can utilize them once they go out in the field.
The day concluded with group formation and an informal idea presentation on which the officers will work for the next two days for evaluation purpose.
