e-Stamping system, one of the flagship initiatives of PITB, has collected PKR 300 Billion+ revenue in Punjab against the issuance of 15,010, 757 e-stamps since its implementation in May 2016.
e-Stamping digitizes issuance of stamp papers eliminating paper and process related fraudulent practices, leakage of government revenue while storing information in digital form to ensure transparency.
The system has been replicated in Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and is successfully expanding across the two provinces. The initiative is being executed as part of an agreement among PITB, Provincial Governments, Board of Revenue (BOR) of the respective provinces, National Bank of Pakistan, State Bank of Pakistan and World Bank.
