An Advisory Session on NGOs Regulatory Compliance was conducted by the Directorate General Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Maal in collaboration with PITB and Community World Service Asia recently.
Director Administration Faiz Ahmed Naeem presided the session whereas Deputy Director NGOs Safdar Abbas and Director PITB Syed Nayyer Ali gave a comprehensive demonstration of the ‘NGOs Registration portal’ to the participants.
During the session Deputy Directors and Social Welfare Officers of the Lahore Division were given hands-on training on web portals for ‘Registration of New NGOs’ and ‘Economic Affairs Division for International NGOs’.
The session aimed at acquainting the officers with the overall functions of the system including NGOs profiling and online processing of applications while highlighting the key features such as those related to the security and user experience.
Director General Social Welfare Muhammad Ahmad appreciated the core team and distributed shields and certificates. He also applauded the efforts of PITB and directed to rollout the refresher sessions across all divisions of Punjab.
